MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Pfeiffer scored three times in the second half Sunday afternoon to pull away from a 1-1 halftime tie and defeat Mary Baldwin 4-1 in USA South men's soccer play.

The Fighting Squirrels took the lead early in the game when Alexis Barba scored off an assist from Yeferson Hernandez in the 11th minute  for a 1-0 kead. Pfeiffer tallied in the 33rd minute to tie the score and the teams went to the break knotted at one goal apiece.

The Falcons took control woth two goals in less than two minutes early in the second half and added a goal late in the contest to complete the 4-1 victory.

MBU returns to action Wednesday when the team hosts Southern Virginia.
