RALEIGH, N.C. - The Mary Baldwin women's tennis team dropped a match in conference play Sunday, losing 8-1 at Meredith.
Meredith won all three doubles matches to start the day. Mary Baldwin dropped a close match at the No. 2 doubles slot where Alexis Seymore and Samantha Childs were edged 8-6 by Meredith's Ryann jennings and Summer Elkins.
In singles play, the Fighting Squirrels picked up their lone point at the No. 3 position when Hannah Eastridge defeated Meredith's Elkins in straight sets 6-1, 7-5.
