Vernon Fraley, in his first start of the season, posted a double-double with 15 points and and a team-high 10 rebounds, but Wilson's offense was more efficient in the second half and the Phoenix posted a 79-72 non-conference men's basketball victory over the host Fighting Squirrels Tuesday.

Zach Sloan equaled Fraley in the scoring column with 15 scores. MBU finished the game shooting 5-for-23 from three-point range (21.7%) and 13-for-22 from the free throw line (59.1%).
On the other end, Ethan Wilson poured in a game-high 26 points, including a 4-for-8 performance from three-point range and he was 8-for-8 from the foul line. The visitors (2-2) finished 14-for-30 from long range (46.7%) and 13-for-16 at the foul line (81.3%).
Mary Baldwin (2-3) now has 11 days off before hosting defending NCAA Division III champion Christopher Newport at the MBU PAC on Saturday, Dec. 2, starting at 3 p.m.
