Randolph College scored the first 12 points of the game, then went on a 9-2 run to start the second quarter, on the way to a 75-45 non-conference women's basketball victory over Mary Baldwin Sunday.

Aryauna Brent for 34 of the team's 45 points. Farrait combined her 10 points with a team-leading seven rebounds while Brent, also with 10 scores, hit two of MBU's five three-point goals.
MBU, which was down by just nine points at the end of the first quarter, shot just 27.3% from the field (12-for-44). The offense was hampered by 34 turnovers, double the total by Randolph.
Jessica Jennings led all scorers with 23 points for the hosts, who boosted their lead to 18 points early in the second quarter and never allowed MBU to get closer than a dozen points the rest of the way.
The Fighting Squirrels return to action with the first of 14-straight USA South Conference games on Wednesday as part of a women's/men's doubleheader at Brevard College.
