Box Score Randolph College scored a pair of second half goals, one in the second minute of the period and one in the last minute of the game, to register a 2-0 season-opening victory over the visiting Mary Baldwin men's soccer squad Friday.

After a scoreless first half, Randolph's Tucker Leverone converted a penalty kick for a 1-0 advantage.  The Wildcats added an insurance score in the final minute when Anelka Ngoy broke free and found the back of the net for the 2-0 win.

MBU managed just two shots on goal in the game.  On the defensive end, Tucker Speak and Preston Bentley split time evenly in goal, each recording one save.

The Fighting Squirrels return to action Wednesday (9/6) with a road game at Randolph-Macon (4:30 p.m.).
