Box Score Randolph College scored a pair of second half goals, one in the second minute of the period and one in the last minute of the game, to register a 2-0 season-opening victory over the visiting Mary Baldwin men's soccer squad Friday.
After a scoreless first half, Randolph's Tucker Leverone converted a penalty kick for a 1-0 advantage. The Wildcats added an insurance score in the final minute when Anelka Ngoy broke free and found the back of the net for the 2-0 win.
MBU managed just two shots on goal in the game. On the defensive end,
Tucker Speak and
Preston Bentley split time evenly in goal, each recording one save.
