Sophomore Zach Sloan leads the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels to their sixth straight win in a row this season against the Southern Virginia Knights with 60-47 victory.

Mary Baldwin started the game strong with putting up 34 points in ther first half while only giving up 22 to their opponent, Southern Virginia. The second half of the game was much tighter as the Knights scored 25 to the Fighting Squirrels' 26. SVU was unable to cover the first half's difference which resulted in another Mary Baldwin Men's Basketball win.

#12, Zach Sloan started the game hot as he scored 3 three-pointers in the first half of the match-up and finished with 15 total points. Other standouts this game for MBU wer #2, Luke Ogle, who scored 11 times with a stellar 17 rebounds, and #1, Brett Asbury, who scored 9 points in addition to his 11 rebounds.

Contributing 17 points through the game, #10, DJ Green was Southern Virginia's biggest scorer with 3 three-pointers. Another key player for the Knight was #1, Koa Baker, who scored 11 points and aided his team with 10 rebounds.

The Fighting Squirrels Men's Basketball team faces two away games next as they travel on Saturday (1/20) to face off against N.C. Wesleyan at 4:00 PM and then to Greensboro next Tuesday (1/23).
