Junior post Luke Ogle provided almost half of Mary Baldwin's offense, knocking down a game-high 24 points, in a 58-53 USA South Athletic Conference setback at Greensboro Tuesday.  The loss was MBU's second after a six-game win streak, including a 5-0 mark to open conference play.

Ogle was 8-for-13 from the field, including 4-for-6 from three point range and a perfect 4-for-4 at the foul line for his second 20-plus point game of the season.  He also contributed four rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Fighting Squirrels.  Other contributors included Quentin Hart (9 points) and Vernon Fraley (9 rebounds).

Greensboro, led by Griffin Powell's 16 points, scored the first six points of the game.  MBU took its first lead (18-15) on an Ogle three-point goal with less than five minutes left in the half.  The Pride eventually finished the first 20 minutes with a 26-23 advantage.

The hosts never surrendered the lead in the second half.  At the 6:38 mark, Greensboro's lead ballooned to 10 points before MBU rallied to within three points twice in the final minutes before losing by five.

The Fighting Squirrels return to MBU's PAC in Staunton for a USA South conference game Saturday against Brevard, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
