Kennedy Mills added five to lead Mary Baldwin on "Dig Pink Night" at the PAC, but the Fighting Squirrels suffered a 3-0 USA South volleyball setback to visiting Meredith (14-8, 9-5 USA South). The Avenging Angels swept the match by scores of 25-19, 25-14 and 25-14.
Also contributing for the Fighting Squirrels were senior Sol Rios Rolon with 12 assists and freshman
Alexa Ammerman with 11 digs. Freshman
Hailee McDonald also chipped in four kills for MBU (2-20, 0-14 USA South).
The Fighting Squirrels continue their USA South season Saturday with a tri-match at Methodist, starting with a match against the Monarchs (2 p.m.) and followed by a showdown against Brevard (4 p.m.).
