Mary Baldwin jumped out to an early three-run lead, but Bridgewater (10-4) inched its way back into the game and then exploded for 11 runs in the sixth and seventh innings to post a 15-4 non-conference baseball win Tuesday.

Tucker Hensley each had two hits for the Fighting Squirrels (3-5). Hensley's RBI double highlighted a three-run third inning that opened the scoring in the game.
Bridgewater battled back over the next three innings to gain a 4-3 advantage, then pulled away with five runs in the sixth and six runs on two homers in the seventh. Christian Harris and TJ Johnson each had two-run hits for the hosts in the sixth. Johnson then highlighted the seventh with a grand slam homer to finish the day with six RBI.
Mary Baldwin's next action is Thursday (3/7) at Shifflett Field in Grottoes, Va., against non-conference rival Ferrum (3 p.m.).
