The Fighting Squirrels dropped their first match of the day to Salem, 3–0 (10–25, 17–25, 3–25). Senior
Emily Penny and junior
Brooklynn Prince led the offense with two kills apiece, while freshman
Kathryn Nguyen added five assists.
Defensively, senior
Alexa Ammerman tallied 20 digs to anchor the back row, but Salem's attack proved too strong, led by Aspen Bradley's 15 kills.
Mary Baldwin closed out the tri-match with a 3–0 loss to Meredith (12–25, 11–25, 14–25). Prince paced the offense with four kills, and
Kennedy Mills added three. Nguyen and Penny each recorded an ace.
Alexa Ammerman continued her strong defensive play with 11 digs.
