Mary Baldwin swept Sweet Briar 3–0 on Thursday, taking sets 25–5, 25–18 and 25–13 to complete the season sweep and snap a losing streak.

The Fighting Squirrels opened strong, posting nine kills and six service aces in a dominant first set. Mary Baldwin kept the pressure on in the second with 33 attack attempts, then closed out the match behind a steady defensive effort that included four blocks in the final frame.

Sophomore Kennedy Mills led all players with 17 kills, and freshman Kathryn Nguyen added 18 assists.

Mary Baldwin returns home Friday, Oct. 31, to host Methodist and Brevard in a USA South tri-match beginning at noon.
