Mary Baldwin swept Sweet Briar 3–0 on Thursday, taking sets 25–5, 25–18 and 25–13 to complete the season sweep and snap a losing streak.
The Fighting Squirrels opened strong, posting nine kills and six service aces in a dominant first set. Mary Baldwin kept the pressure on in the second with 33 attack attempts, then closed out the match behind a steady defensive effort that included four blocks in the final frame.
