Mary Baldwin Volleyball Drops 3-0 Decision To Visiting Pfeiffer

Freshman Hayley DeShazo shared the team lead with four kills and had four digs in Mary Baldwin's 3-0 USA South volleyball loss to visiting Pfeiffer Thursday.

The visiting Falcons (9-10, 5-4 USA South), led by Gabi Gama with eight kills, posted winning scores of 25-13, 25-9 and 25-18 against the Fighting Squirrels.

Junior Delaney Bolbach shared the team lead with four kills for MBU while Kathryn Nguyen paced the hosts with 11 assists and two service aces.

The Fighting Squirrels (6-11, 0-7 USA South) return to action after Fall Break with a Wednesday (10/15) showdown at the PAC in Staunton against Hollins (6 p.m.).
