The Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels fell to 0-2 after a 74-37 loss to Bridgewater on Monday.
Bridgewater's defense came out strong, holding Mary Baldwin without a field goal in the first quarter and jumping to a 19-2 lead.
The Fighting Squirrels found their rhythm in the second quarter, shooting 50% from three-point range and making all their free throws. Still, the Eagles outscored Mary Baldwin 33-13 in the second half to pull away for the win.
Mary Baldwin will make its home debut at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, against Randolph College.
