Mary Baldwin opened the 2025 spring women's tennis campaign with a 7-0 loss at Randolph-Macon Sunday.
The Yellow Jackets recorded seven shutouts in nine matches. MBU's only points came at #6 singles, where Harmony Crawford won four games in two sets, while at No. 3 doubles, the tandem of
Gabrielle Wyatt and
Lauren Byrnes were on the short end of a 6-4 final score.
The Fighting Squirrels return to action Saturday, March 1, with a non-conference clash at Va. State. That's the team's first day on the way to their Spring Break trip, where the team will play three more matches and challenge USA South Methodist on March 6 in Fayetteville.
