In the contest, Hampden-Sydney started the game strong by scoring 2 runs in the first inning and continued their offensive tendencies as the game progressed. The Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels were unable to keep up as the Hampden-Sydney Tigers ran away with 10 steals and a 16-0 victory over MBU.
