The Fighting Squirrels extended their winning streak to five games with a 4-0 shutout of the William Peace Pacers.
Sophomore
Alma Gonzalez-Hayes opened the scoring in the 15th minute, netting her first goal of the season to give Mary Baldwin a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
The offense surged in the second half with three more goals. Sophomore
Kendall Carr struck twice, scoring in the 55th and 62nd minutes, bringing her season total to three goals. Freshman
Molly Ludwig added the final tally in the 67th minute, her fifth of the season, which leads the team in scoring.
With the win, Mary Baldwin has already surpassed its total victories from 2024. The current five-game winning streak marks the longest for the program in 25 years.
The Fighting Squirrels return home on Wednesday, September 24, for a 4:30 p.m. matchup against Christendom.
