The Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels earned a 1–0 victory over N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday, securing their USA South home opener at SMA Worth Field.
The Squirrels' defense came up big in the first half, holding the Battling Bishops to just one shot on goal while controlling possession and generating seven attempts of their own.
