Tiffany Carr dished out a match-high 20 assists and added a team-best three service aces as Mary Baldwin volleyball battled to the wire in all three sets at Hollins, but the Fighting Squirrels dropped a 3-0 non-conference decision Wednesday.
Hollins won the match by scores of 25-23, 25-22 and 25-23 to improve to 3-0 for the season.Â

Peyton Hall each had five kills while
Delaney Bolbach and
Sabrina Birts each added four for the Fighting Squirrels.Â
Alexa Ammerman chipped in 15 digs to lead the MBU defense.
After one day off, the Fighting Squirrels return to action in the Regent Tournament at Norfolk Christian High School this weekend. Friday (9/5), MBU challenges Christendom (6:30 p.m.), followed Saturday (9/6) by matches against Regent (1 p.m.) and Warren Wilson (3 p.m.).
