The Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels traveled to Harrisonburg, Virginia, to face Eastern Mennonite University, falling to the Royals 20-1.
Eastern Mennonite took an early lead with four runs in the second inning, but the game broke open in the third when the Royals scored 13 runs.
Noah Sanderson started the surge with a two-run home run to extend the lead to 8-0. The Royals' bats stayed hot as the lineup cycled through the order. Sanderson later tripled in his second plate appearance of the inning, driving in two more runs. Jett

Mary Baldwin scored its lone run in the sixth inning when junior
Wesley Strychowski hit a solo home run to left field, the first of his collegiate career.
