Game 1

Mary Baldwin battled Methodist into extra innings in Game one.

The Fighting Squirrels struck first in the opening inning. Freshman Cooper Harris delivered an RBI single to center field, scoring senior Isiah Brooks and advancing the baserunners.

With the bases loaded, senior Jacob Barber drew a walk to bring freshman Patrick Sido home. Sophomore Camden Bauswell added a third run by scoring on a wild pitch.

Mary Baldwin's bats went quiet until Methodist tied the game in the eighth inning. Brandon Mauger singled to left-center field, driving in the tying run.

In the 10th inning, with two outs, Bauswell stepped up and delivered an RBI double to score the go-ahead run. The Fighting Squirrels' defense held in the bottom half of the inning to secure the win.

Game 2

Mary Baldwin again scored first in Game two, but Methodist responded in the fifth inning.
With the bases loaded, Blake Freeman hit a double to center field, driving in three runs to give the Monarchs a 4-1 lead.

Methodist extended its lead to five runs with a strong seventh inning. The Fighting Squirrels scored two runs in the ninth, but the rally fell short.
