Mary Baldwin baseball fell behind 13-6 against Washington and Lee as the Generals' pitching staff stifled the Fighting Squirrels' offense.

Patrick Sido.
The Generals added seven runs in the fifth and sixth innings to extend their lead to 13-1.
The Fighting Squirrels responded in the seventh when senior
Isiah Brooks grounded out to third base, allowing senior
Wesley Strychowski to score. Sido followed with an RBI double in his fourth at-bat of the game. In the eighth, freshman Barden Williamson scored after a Generals error.
The Fighting Squirrels struck out 12 times compared with four for Washington and Lee. MBU also left 11 runners on base.
Mary Baldwin returns to the road Wednesday, March 4, to face Roanoke College at 1 p.m.
