Mary Baldwin Athletics participated Monday in its annual NCAA-mandated Title IX training, with more than 150 student-athletes and faculty members representing all varsity teams gathering in the Student Activities Center.
Title IX Coordinator Dr. Todd E. Long led the presentation, focusing on the importance of Title IX education and compliance.
The annual event, sponsored by NCAA membership requirements and the Mary Baldwin athletic department, addresses a range of topics related to campus sexual harassment under Title IX. The training also outlines how students should respond if an incident arises and explains the legal responsibilities of all parties involved.
