For the women's 6K, senior
Nicky Black would be the first Fighting Squirrel to cross the finish line, finishing 52
nd with a 26:57.4 time.
JuniorÂ
Ashley Bennett would finish next with a 31:08.1 time, junior Madison Jones would be the final Fighting Squirrel to finish.
For the men senior
Caleb Smith would be MBU's top finisher with a 29:48.2 in the 8K. Seniors
Micah Ahearn-Wood (32:53.2) and
Daniel Diaczyszyn (33:12.5) ran as a tandem finishing back to back.
Freshman
Jonas Salefske and sophomore
Tajee Groomes would be the final finishers for MBU.
The Fighting Squirrels return to the trail Saturday, Sept. 25 as they will participate in the James Madison Invitational.
