Pups on the pitch for Mary Baldwin Soccer Doubleheader

On Saturday, September 13, Mary Baldwin will host a soccer doubleheader with some special guests in attendance — the Bark Rangers from Green Dogs Unleashed.

Green Dogs Unleashed is a non-profit dedicated to animal rescue, rehabilitation, and training, with a strong focus on positive reinforcement and relationship-based learning. Their Bark Rangers program helps dogs build confidence by practicing calm behavior in exciting, real-world environments.

Saturday's games will give the dogs an opportunity to get acclimated to the sounds, crowds, and energy of live sports while supporting Mary Baldwin athletics. As Green Dogs Unleashed explains, "We do not just find homes for animals, we give them the tools to thrive while also supporting the families and communities who love them."

Fans can visit the Bark Rangers just outside the fence of SMA Worth Field. The action begins with the women's soccer team kicking off at 1:00 p.m. against Eastern Mennonite, followed by the men's matchup immediately after against Guilford at 3:30 p.m.
