The Mary Baldwin men's cross country team competed at the Bridgewater Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, with five Fighting Squirrels completing the 8K course.

Junior Daniel Diaczyszyn led the squad, finishing in 33:01.29. Fellow junior Micah Ahearn-Wood followed close behind with a time of 33:41.63.
Freshman Tajee Groomes, racing in his first career 8K, clocked in at 37:40.83, securing the team's third spot.

Graduate student Brandon Jones crossed the line in 39:34.23, while senior Tristen Bannasch rounded out Mary Baldwin's runners with a finish of 42:47.49.

The Fighting Squirrels will return to action on Saturday, September 27, at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational.
