Box Score Washington, DC - The Mary Baldwin College Soccer team scored
another decisive win today against Trinity (D.C.).
Sophomore Caitlin Novak again struck first with an unassisted
goal to put the Fighting Squirrels up 1-0. Freshman Kayla
Childers got her first goal of the season with a shot 25 yards out.
She was assisted by Novak.
Novak struck once more in the first half with an assist by
Freshman Hailey Cowles. MBC led 3-0 at the break.
In the second half, Senior Samantha Thomas found the goal as she
was assisted by Brenda Santamaria. Windsor Vaughn then scored
her first goal of the season when she was assisted by Kallie
Johnson. The Fighting Squirrels led 5-0.
Caitlin Novak scored one final goal to give Mary Baldwin College
(4-0, 0-0 USAS) the win.
Mary Baldwin begins their USA South Conference schedule on
Sunday when they travel to Danville, VA to take on Averett
University.
