ROANOKE, VA - Roanoke College shot just shy of 60% from the floor and rolled past Mary Baldwin 106-27 this evening in women's basketball.

The Maroons went 48-83 from the floor while also outrebounding the Fighting Squirrels 62-23.  Roanoke played great team ball finishing with 33 assists. 

Ellen Wagner led Roanoke's balanced scoring attack with 17 points.  Cary Beahm and Allison Yeaw followed with 12 points each.  Jamella Foster, Bridget Holleran, and Victoria Maxwell each added 11.  Beahm grabbed 11 boards.  Holleran added an impressive 8 assists.

Mary Baldwin was led by Rakeema Willis with 12 points.  Kaybria Johnson followed with 7.  Teanna Peavy tallied 6 rebounds.

Mary Baldwin College 0-7 (0-2 USAS) hosts Notre Dame (Md) tomorrow at 2:00 PM before taking a break for the holiday.
