Wilson College used big innings in each game Sunday to sweep Mary Baldwin 15-3 and 12-3 in a non-conference doubleheader.

In the opener, the Fighting Squirrels grabbed the lead in the bottom of the first. Michael was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning and then stole second. Jared Mayhew chaded Robertson home with a single for a quick 1-0 MBU lead.

Wilson took the lead with four runs in the third, but the Squirrels rallied with two runs in the bottom of the third to trail by just on run. Mayhew singled with one out and Chase Davis followed with a two-run homer, pulling MBU to within 4-3.

The Phoenix then broke the game open with 11 runs in the fifth to win 15-3.

Wilsonn took the lead in Game 2 with two runs in the tp of the third, but MBU tallied an uneared run in the bottom of hte inning to trim the Phoenix lead to 2-1.

The Phoenix moved out to an 8-1 lead with six runs in the fourth and put the game away with four more runs in the sixth.

Mary Baldwin added its final two runs in the seventh on a two-run single by Noah Kessler.

Robertson was 3-for-3 in Game 2 with a double and two stolen bases.
