Baseball Drops Game at Stevenson

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Mary Baldwin baseball traveled to play Stevenson University on Wednesday, losing by a score of 24-2.
 
Stevenson jumped out to an early lead by scoring seven runs in the bottom of the first inning, after allowing five walks and four hits put the Squirrels behind early.

The Squirrels scored one run in the fourth inning when Michael Barber bagged a double, sending Will Earnesty, who singled earlier in the inning home.

The Mustangs then added six more runs in the fifth and seven runs in the sixth to blow the game open.

The Squirrels scored their final run in the seventh inning when Michael Robertson's single chased home Barber

MBU pitcher Dalton Hall threw two scoreless innings allowing only one hit.

Both Barber and Roberston went 2-for-4 on the day,each with one run batted in.

MBU is back in action Saturday (March. 4th) when they host Mount Aloysius College in a doubleheader at John Moxie Stadium.
