Box Score Mary Baldwin battled throughout but came up just short in its season finale, falling 5–2 to Southern Virginia on Wednesday night.

The Knights jumped out to an early lead with a pair of quick goals, but the Fighting Squirrels refused to back down. Freshman Rehn Killian sparked the offense in the 37th minute with his first career goal, and senior Isaiah Williams followed just a minute later to level the match at 2–2.

Southern Virginia regained the lead before halftime and added two more goals in the second half, despite a resilient defensive effort from the Squirrels.

Mary Baldwin closes the season showing promise for the future, highlighted by the play of its young contributors and a strong finish from its senior leaders.
