Sophomore libero Alexa Ammerman was named to the North Carolina Wesleyan Invitational All-Tournament Team after a standout performance during the opening week of the season.
 
Ammerman anchored the Mary Baldwin defense, recording 61 total digs across four matches. Her tournament-best performance came in a matchup against Regent, where she tallied 22 digs.
 
The Fighting Squirrels finished third overall in the tournament and earned a $1,000 award for their performance.
