After holding the Bishops scoreless in the second and third innings, it was Mary Baldwin who took advantage of errors by the opposition.  Then, with the bases loaded, Rebecca Parramore singled earning two RBI's.  Pitcher Olivia Compton then stepped to the plate and hit a single to right field earning another RBI.  Mary Baldwin held a 6-3 advantage.

Jonquil Brown homered in the bottom of the 4th inning to add to the lead.

Jonquil Brown had 2 hits including the home run, 2 runs and 1 RBI while Rebecca Parramore added 1 hit and 3 RBI's in the second game.

Head Coach Christy Shelton said, "I am extremely proud of the team and the way they played. Everyone did their jobs and it was a total team effort.  They didn't quit and played to their potential which was exciting for us as coaches.  OC pitched an exceptional ballgame which kept us in the game."

Mary Baldwin College (4-20, 1-15 USAS) will have little time to savor the win.  They travel to Averett University on Tuesday then host Greensboro College on Wednesday.
