Bridgewater, VA - The Mary Baldwin College softball team fell to Bridgewater College 0-7 this afternoon in both ends of a double header.

The Eagles took a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the 3rd inning tallying 5 hits.  The home team added 2 more runs in the bottom of the 5th inning and a final run in the 6th while holding the Fighting Squirrles scoreless.

Mary Baldwin finished with four hits. 

In the final game, Bridgewater got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning then added 6 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning taking the 7-0 win.

The Fighting Squirrels finished with five hits.

Mary Baldwin College 3-17 (1-11 USAS) return to their conference schedule on Sunday traveling to Raleigh, NC to take on the Peace Pacers.  Before the game, the William Peace softball prgram will host Military Appreciation Day.  For more information, click here.
