All of the seniors, along with other former players in attendance, were invited to sign the back of the new sign. Each senior class going forward will be invited to add their signature to the sign.
After the game, Head Coach Christy Shelton said, "Without a doubt, these four seniors have played such an important part in our softball program these past four years. I truly was blessed to have been able to coach them. I realize we may not have won as many games as we strive to do, but during the process, I got to have wonderful and meaningful relationships with them. I look forward to watching them continue to grow as people as they enter a new chapter in their lives."
Mary Baldwin College, 10-22, continue play on Sunday when they travel to Averett University.
