Box Score 2 Regan Frazier and
McKenzie Tillman combined for rallies in the last two innings, and Frazer picked up the win in relief as Mary Baldwin rallied for an 11-8 USA South softball victory in Game 1 of a doubleheader Saturday at N.C. Wesleyan. The host Battling Bishops (15-15, 5-5 USA South) bounced back in the nightcap for a 10-0 triumph over the Fighting Squirrels (12-15, 6-6 USA South).
The hosts broke loose for a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning in Game 1. The Fighting Squirrels battled back with four runs in the third, highlighted by a two-run double by

Frazier scattered three earned runs on nine hits over the last 7.1 innings to get the win, improving her season record to 4-3.
In the second game, the hosts scored in each of the first four innings, including a six-run outburst in the bottom of the fourth to secure the victory.
Frazier and Thompson each had one one of MBU's 11 hits and each compiled five runs produced in the win.
Allison Crum, who had one of MBU's three hits in the second game, also had two hits in the opener.
The Fighting Squirrels take a break in the schedule for final exams, then return to action Saturday, April 20, with a USA South doubleheader at home against Meredith.
